Since this weather is now beautiful, expect to see more entries about me going on runs, playing ultimate, etc. I plan to take advantage of everything I can :)
Ok, three times a week, I've been playing basketball... Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. Three times a week, I've been climbing... Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The days that I haven't been doing one of the two, I've either been running or doing half hour - forty five minute sets on my campus board. I've gained five pounds of muscle since the middle of winter break, which has caused Chris to have to anchor himself to the floor to belay me... haha
Just keeping you all updated.
This seems to be the resolution that I have posted the most for. Every Monday evening, I'll be playing some basketball at the HPER with brothers. Hopefully on Wednesdays, I will be doign the same, we'll see how that goes. Every morning, when I wake up, I've been spending 15 minutes to a half an hour working out on my campus board. I'm already starting to see progress in my shoulders, biceps and abs. Not only have I been doing the pullups on the board, I've also been doing leg-ups and other ab excercises. Definitely happy with the progress this board offeres. It doesn't look like I'm going to be able to find time to swim like I had hoped, but it's still early in the semester and I have plenty of time to figure that out.
Ok, so the last three days have been great ones. I played some basketball yesterday and today for about two hours each day, I ran two miles in about 20 minutes on Monday and Wednesday, and each day since Monday, I've done a good 30 minute set (or more) on the Campus Board. I'm making good progress on this resolution, we'll just have to see what happens when I get back to class. I should be alright, I think Neil and I are going to go to the gym on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the late morning to work out in some way shape or form. I also want to start swimming some. Maybe I won't have time for all of that, but it'll be ok. Monday night is always Psi-ball, so you bet your bottom that I'll be there.
Last night when I got back to Bloomington, I mounted my campus board. I also did a few sets of pullups on the board (30 minutes).
This morning, I started the day off with a nice 20 minute run. It was good although I only ran two miles. I ran four the other day and about killed myself. That was my normal run at the end of the summer, but I haven't run like that for a semester. I'll probably just run two miles for a week or so more, then work up to three, then four. By this summer, I will be running four miles at a time, maybe more.
that's all, peace
